What The Pillar is

The Pillar is a browser game and an advertising marketplace: One Floor Each, a tower people build together one floor each, and a 3D open-world city. A window is a licensed ad pane on its 80-floor tower, not real property and not a security.

This page is a plain-language summary for players and advertisers. It is not legal advice, and a window on The Pillar is not real estate and not an investment.

What you are buying

Lighting a window is a monthly advertising licence. You pay a fixed monthly price for that pane, charged through Stripe. The price you see on the pane is the price you are charged, to the cent.

The licence renews automatically each month at the same price until you cancel. We only change a price for future renewals, and only after telling you in advance.

How to cancel

You can cancel any time by releasing the window from the tower while signed in, or by emailing contact@extensionsmarket.com. Cancelling stops future renewals.

When you cancel, your brand stays on the pane until the end of the month you already paid for, then the pane returns to inventory. We do not pro-rate or refund the current month unless the law requires it.

Payments in USDC (x402)

A payment in USDC through x402 buys one month and is final: there is no 24-hour undo and no refund for ending early. Nothing renews by itself, so there is nothing to cancel: the window frees itself after the month unless you pay again.

If a payment went through but we couldn't place the ad, a person sends the same amount of USDC back to the paying address on Base, usually within a few days.

Bricks and the floor shop

Bricks arrive in your account as soon as a payment goes through. If you change your mind, you can get a full refund within 14 days for the Bricks from that purchase you haven't spent: email contact@extensionsmarket.com from the address on your account, or with the paying wallet for USDC.

Bricks you've spent, and the things, boosts, refills and floors they bought, can't be refunded, except where the law requires it. Before your first purchase you ask for delivery right away and accept that, once a purchase is delivered, the 14-day right to cancel that EU and UK law gives for digital content no longer applies.

A refund for Bricks bought with USDC is sent as USDC to the paying wallet on Base, by a person, usually within a few days.

Pillar Plus

Cancel any time from the Plus panel in the shop. Plus stays until the end of the month you paid for and nothing more is charged. We don't refund part of a month unless the law requires it.

The Crown, cheers, the season pass and blocks

Bricks spent on a winning Crown bid or on cheers are final. Bricks from a Crown bid that someone outbids always come back to you.

The season pass can be refunded on request within 14 days of buying while you haven't collected anything from it. A group block can be refunded on request within 14 days while nobody has built in it. Email contact@extensionsmarket.com from the address on your account.

A monthly block can be cancelled any time from the block panel; it stays until the end of the month you paid for. We don't refund part of a month unless the law requires it.

Brand floors

Cancel any time with the manage link in your email. The floor stays until the end of the month you paid for, and nothing more is charged. We don't refund part of a month unless the law requires it. A brand floor we don't approve at review is refunded in full.

Errors and disputes

If you are charged in error, email contact@extensionsmarket.com and we will respond within 5 business days.

During preview, some windows may be free; free windows involve no charge and no refund.
