The Pillar: a 3D open-world game where the ads are the city
The Pillar is a 3D open-world browser game and an advertising marketplace. A window is a licensed ad pane on its 80-floor tower, not real property and not a security.
Websites are pages. This one you drive. The Pillar opens straight into a 3D city you share with other players: walk, drive, fly a helicopter or a plane, glide in a wingsuit, grab loot boxes and blow things up. In the middle stands an 80-floor tower with 1,920 windows, and every window and every billboard in the city is real ad space.
A game. An ad marketplace. A city full of other people. One website. Ads on the rest of the web get in your way. Here, the ads are the city.
Each pane of glass on the tower can be lit by a company: your name, your logo, your link, glowing for as long as your licence runs. Sign in with X, pick a pane, and paste your company URL: The Pillar fills the window with your brand automatically. Tower windows cost $9 to $392.85 a month and city billboards $4 to $8.
Lighting a window is an advertising licence for a set period, not ownership of anything and not a security. The tower has 1920 panes across 80 floors. Frequently asked questions
What is The Pillar?
The Pillar is a 3D open-world browser game and an advertising marketplace. A window is a licensed ad pane on its 80-floor tower, not real property and not a security.
What can you do in The Pillar?
Walk, drive, fly a helicopter or a plane, glide in a wingsuit, carjack cars and crash into anything. Loot boxes around the city hold rockets, a machine gun, homing missiles, mines, bombs, oil slicks, a flamethrower and grenades, for the car, the chopper and on foot (with empty hands you punch), and crashes are cartoon style, with no blood. Two street crews fight it out near you about once a minute: knock a fighter over and grab the weapon they drop, but hit one and their whole crew comes after you. Ride the elevator through all 80 floors, summon a UFO at night, and hunt the daily Golden Window: the first finder gets free time on a window. Other players share the city with you, live.
Is The Pillar free to play?
Yes. It runs in your browser on desktop and phones, with nothing to install and no sign-up to play. You sign in with X only to chat or claim a prize; you can light a window with just an email.
How much does advertising on The Pillar cost?
Tower windows cost $9 to $392.85 a month, by floor and position. City billboards cost $4 to $8 a month.
Is a window on The Pillar real estate?

What do I get when I light a window?
A licence to display your brand (name, logo and link) on that pane for the period you paid for. When it ends, the pane returns to inventory.
